I made a pouch for my daughter's tablet.
Avec de jolies finitions, un joli flex qui m'a bien pris la tête, à mon avis, il est trop vieux, il a mal collé, voir pas du tout, j'ai dû recommencer.
Mais bon ! tout, c'est bien terminé et le plus important, elle aime sa pochette.
With lovely finishing touches, a pretty flex that really got on my nerves. In my opinion, it's too old, it didn't stick well, or even at all, so I had to start again.
But all in all, it turned out well, and most importantly, she loves her pouch.

Here are some other designs I made for my family and my daughter's best friend (Laura).
On commence avec celle pour Laura, une grande fan de Harry Styles.
We start with this one for Laura, a big Harry Styles fan.
Celle pour ma maman, fan de Freddie Mercury.
The one for my mom, a Freddie Mercury fan.
Pour la maman de mon chéri qui aime le lys blanc.
For my darling's mother, who loves white lilies.
Pour ma belle-mère, fan de la fée clochette.
For my mother-in-law, a Tinkerbell fan.
Et la dernière pour mon papa.
And the last one for my dad.
Elles ne sont pas parfaites, mais elles ont eu du succès.
They're not perfect, but they were a hit.
Quelques petites mésaventures, premièrement avec le portrait de Harry Styles que j'ai dû retravailler un peu, le motif est trop fin, j'ai perdu des petites pièces. J'ai aussi eu un souci avec un sourcil, qui lors de l'échenillage a bougé et s'est collé sur la partie collante qui a dû s'imprégner de couleur. :/
A few minor mishaps, firstly with the Harry Styles portrait, which I had to rework a little, as the motif is too thin and I lost some small parts. I also had a problem with an eyebrow, which moved during weeding and stuck to the sticky part, which must have been impregnated with color. :/

Le troisième pour mon fils, fan de Gravity Falls, celle-ci, on a perdu quelques morceaux, les motifs étaient trop petits, mais bon, on s'en fou, on s'est bien amusés à la réaliser.
The third for my son, a fan of Gravity Falls, this one we lost a few pieces, the motifs were too small, but who cares, we had a lot of fun making it.

Elles ne sont pas parfaites, mais on s'est amusées à les réaliser, le processus est simple, mais demande de la précision.
Je suis encore dans la phase découverte/test, mais je sens que je vais bien aimer.

I'm still in the discovery/testing phase, but I have a feeling I'm going to like them.

Mon petit Yuki a eu des puces et le pauvre se gratte à sang.
J'ai proposé à Lulu de lui coudre un petit pyjama, il me restait du jersey dont je m'étais servie pour les manches du t-shirt de Lou.
Et j'ai trouvé un modèle sympa sur Etsy et en promo dans les tailles XS à XL, à ma grande surprise la taille XL correspond à un Yorkshire.

My little Yuki got fleas and the poor thing scratches like crazy.
I proposed to Lulu to sew him a little pyjama, I had some jersey left over which I had used for the sleeves of Lou's t-shirt.
And I found a nice model on Etsy and on sale in sizes XS to XL, to my great surprise the XL size corresponds to a Yorkshire.
J'aurais espéré un peu plus grand au cas où, on en aurait besoin pour les autres chiens de la famille... il faut dire que je n'ai pas pris les mesures de Yuki avant d'acheter, donc je n'ai pas vérifié, mais bon, il est dans le tableau des tailles, c'est ce qui compte.
J'ai quand même dû allonger de 6 cm dans la longueur, il est grand ce petit Yuki et petite note à moi-même : si on allonge le dos, en toute logique, on allonge le devant..."en toute logique" 😅 chose que je n'ai pas, apparemment.
Donc, petite bidouille sur le devant.
I'd have hoped for a little more space, just in case we'd need it for the other dogs in the family... it must be said that I didn't take Yuki's measurements before buying, so I didn't check, but hey, he's in the size chart, that's what counts.
I still had to extend the length by 6 cm, little Yuki's big and a little note to myself: if you extend the back, logically you extend the front... "logically" 😅 something I don't have, apparently.
So, a little fiddle with the front.
Lulu trouvait sympa d'ajouter un petit flex genre "Sac à puces", je suis donc allée voir dans ma bibliothèque du silhouette studio et j'avais ce joli chien, auquel j'ai ajouté quelques puces qui sautent et la petite phrase.
Lulu thought it would be fun to add a little "fleabag" flex, so I went to my silhouette studio library and found this cute dog, to which I added a few jumping fleas and the little phrase.
Malheureusement, mon flex est un peu vieux, j'ai eu quelques difficultés à l'écheniller et à le coller, j'espère qu'il tiendra malgré tout.
Je suis plutôt contente du résultat, je le trouve mignon, plus qu'à espéré qu'il soit à la bonne taille.
Unfortunately, my flex is a bit old, so I had a bit of trouble weeding and gluing it, but I hope it will hold.
I'm pretty happy with the result, I think it's cute, more than I hoped it would be the right size.

Parce qu'après plusieurs années à avoir posé du flex sur les t-shirts, sweat, etc ...
et bien, avec mon fils, on se rend bien compte que ça ne tient pas vraiment sur le temps.

I'm taking on a new challenge ... screen printing.
Because after several years of putting flex on t-shirts, sweaters, etc ...
well, with my son, we realize that it doesn't really hold up over time.
Parfois, ça tient très bien, parfois ça se décolle, d'autres se ternissent, comme la couleur dorée par exemple. Au fil du temps, on a perdu des morceaux, d'autres se sont craqué.
Et puis, en même temps que ses t-shirts passaient dans la machine à laver, je lavais également un t-shirt de ma fille qu'elle avait réalisé lors d'un stage et le motif de celui-ci était réalisé à la sérigraphie et ce motif ne s'est pas dégradé.
Bien que cette technique ne m'est pas inconnue, car j'en avais déjà réalisé à l'école (les avantages de la branche artistique), mais avec un procédé assez long. Donc, l'idée me trottait en tête, mais je ne savais pas trop comment m'y prendre.
Sometimes it holds up very well, sometimes it peels off, others fade, like the gold color for example. Over time, we lost some pieces, others cracked.

Celui qui m'intéressait le plus est composé d'un cadre, une raclette, un pot d'encre pour commencer et des feuilles de vinyles et si je ne dis pas de bêtises, il doit avoir été composé en partenariat avec "Pigskins & Pigtails" , vous pouvez également la suivre sur IG : @pigskinsandpigtails

Certains ce sont bien passé et d'autres un peu moins, mais bon, c'est comme ça qu'on apprend !

Une fois «imprimé», il faut laisser sécher à l'air libre et ensuite «cuire» l'encre à 150° soit avec votre fer à repasser, soit comme moi avec une presse. Mais tout est expliqué sur le pot d'encre ou dans le manuel du kit.
Once "printed", you need to let the ink air-dry and then "bake" it at 150°, either with your iron or, like me, with a press. But everything is explained on the ink pot or in the kit manual.
et les revoici, donc, après un séchage de 3 jours, presser à la presse, passer dans la machine à laver et après un petit passage du fer à repasser.
and here they are again, after drying for 3 days, pressed, washed and ironed.
Malgré de petits ratés, je suis plutôt satisfaite de ma première expérience.
Vous verrez bientôt le nouveau sweat de mon fils avec le premier motif réalisé avec cette technique.
Despite a few minor hiccups, I'm pretty pleased with my first experience.
